If you have apples, eggs, and a few minutes — this dessert will become your new favorite 🤍 Buttery crust, juicy apple filling, and fluffy meringue on top — perfect with tea or coffee!
0:00 – 2:52 — Dough: mix egg yolks with butter, sugar, baking soda, and flour; divide the dough, freeze a portion.
2:52 – 3:35 — Beat egg whites: whisk with sugar until fluffy.
3:35 – 7:22 — Apples & Assembly: grate apples, spread over dough, add meringue, and grate frozen dough on top.
7:22 — Finished Pie: show the baked pie and enjoy!
👩🍳 How to Make It:
1️⃣ Separate the egg whites from the yolks and chill the whites.
2️⃣ Mix yolks with softened butter, then add 100 g sugar, baking soda, and flour. Knead into dough.
3️⃣ Freeze ⅓ of the dough. Press the rest into a lined baking pan with edges.
4️⃣ Grate the apples and spread them evenly over the crust.
5️⃣ Beat the chilled egg whites with the remaining 100 g sugar until fluffy meringue forms. Spread on top of the apples.
6️⃣ Grate the frozen dough over the meringue.
7️⃣ Bake at 160°C (320°F) for about 35 minutes, until golden brown.
