We Tried NYC’s Most Viral Pizza

Rubirosa in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood has been one of the toughest pizzeria reservations in NYC for nearly a decade. A lot of that is due to the immense popularity of their viral Tie Dye pie. But this restaurant is way more than just a pizzeria. It’s home to some of the best Italian American cuisine in the city.

  1. I am so so pissed nowhere at Joe's and pats on staten island shows this eatery associated. We have been patrons for decades even goin back to the disco days. I hope they offer locals on island preference to getting a reservation at Manhattan venue

  2. I'm sorry guys but can I ask you a personal question?
Can I assume you guys are government employees?
I mean, you guys are everywhere all the time and since no one has more spare time on their hands than a government employee.
I'm thinking you're both school teachers, but I could be wrong. For all I know you might be knowledge workers that work from home.
Don't hate, I love your videos. Watching them makes me feel like I'm on vacation.
And though you may look like siblings I know that you're a happily married couple.
Keep doing what you're doing guys!

  3. Watching your reviews..makes me hungry…this place looks very charming despite the volume…but that's ok…you know its popular, the to go place. The food looks great. Of course your reviews are spot on in description and editing and the amount of time to watch. Keep up the great work 👍 !!!!

  4. Their pizza may be the most famous, but the rest of the items you guys ordered somehow outshined it! Great review, you two are gems 👍

  5. Kristin has great dining technique! If you two think the food is fantastic, it must be really delicious!!

  6. If staten island is a hassle go to joe and pats in east village much easier to get a seat. The difference between rubirosa is the non pizza items at rubirosa are much better than Joe and pats east village

  7. I just recently found your channel, and I'm so glad I did! I'm thrilled that you got to try Rubirosa, and I love that you showed more of the menu offerings beyond the famous pizza. Of course, the pizza is great, but that spaghetti looks so enticing!

  8. Porfirio Rubirosa Was a 1950’s Playboy/ Auto Racer Killed, Along With His Navigator and Several Civilians, in the 1957 Mille Miglia.
Great Video!!! I Want To Eat at Rubirosa’s!!!!

  9. Look – I'm not trying to be that guy that complains about the price of things in NY – it's an expensive city and I realize that…

But $27 for a shell pasta in a red sauce SHOULD BE ILLEGAL.

  10. For the amount of stuff that you guys got (i.e. the amount of money that you spent), they should have at least brought a collapsible stand to go next to the table, for your pizza, or offered to stagger bringing out the dishes so that your table wasn't uncomfortably cluttered with food.

A great restaurant experience isn't just about what you eat, it's also making the diner's experience as enjoyable as possible.

  11. Kicking off 2026 with Kristin's smile and good vibes is something we could all use more of! Thank you for another great video!

  12. The greatest American scam is convincing people a plate of pasta shells and sauce is worth $27. That restaurant is super expensive for traditional Italian-Anerican cuisine.

  13. Lumache alla Vodka (surprised it was not spicy) and Tie Dye Pizza looked delish! I would skip the pepperoni too because I'm not a huge pepperoni fan. And yessss, Caffe Panna's Rainbow Cookie Ice Cream looked divine! I would eat backwards! Dessert first! 😂 Kaitlyn looked like she was in a major food coma and needed a nap ASAP! But after all the many red-sauced foods and she STILL kept her shirt pristine clean! 👏 She's a pro!

  14. I love that they have their own flavor of Caffe Panna ice cream! I tried Caffe Panna for the first time a couple months ago and I am obsessed! Great review 🥰

  15. There's a Joe and Pat's in the east village on first ave!!!! Glad you guys enjoyed the meal so much. It looked amazing.
