Baked Pasta with Mozzarella (Oven Recipe)

Ingredients:

• 500 g pasta
• 1 liter tomato sauce
• 4 cloves of garlic
• Extra virgin olive oil
• Salt
• Sugar (to taste)
• 500 g mozzarella
• Parmesan cheese — the more, the better 😄

Instructions:

Since the pasta will finish cooking in the oven, reduce the boiling time indicated on the package by 4 minutes.
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water, then drain.
2. Prepare the tomato sauce with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt, and a pinch of sugar.
Let the sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes — the longer, the better.
The sauce should reduce slightly and become thicker.
3. Mix the pasta with the sauce and transfer it to an oven-safe baking dish.
4. Add mozzarella on top.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
