iconic but this review I think he is using his heart and not his head. Basic pizza/nothing to write home about and dont ever go there on a weekend night unless you want to hear kids screaming and running around the whole establishment.
Dude, you have to go to The Central Cafe in Middleboro for bar pie! Fantastic and in a historic bar….awesome!
Clean your overhead handle. Disgusting.
This review missed the mark for me. I went to Prince years ago with my kids, it was very underwhelming. The food wasn't nearly worth the hassle of getting into and out of the parking lot on Route 1.
My benchmark is the "large classic" (sausage and extra cheese) with roasted red pepper and mushrooms from Pini's Pizzeria (formerly of Somerville, now across the town line in Medford). Way better crust, way better sauce, way better toppings and cheese. Check it out!
Liked it when I was a kid, not so much anymore… if I’m at Giggles and haven’t eaten yet we’ll grab a pizza during the show. Not going outa my way to go there and order a pizza… too small n a crispy crust. Not my fav. I’d rather go across the st. To Polcari’s!(Regina). Great pizza!
I'll get roasted here but fuck it. I'll take a Papa John's large, extra pepperoni, extra cheese and cheese in the crust and put that against any of those East coast pies. Seacrest out!
At my first company my coworkers and I would sometimes go out of the way for lunch and Prince was one of the spots. Always good pizza, a good time, and it has that iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa there so you see it from Route 1. It's a staple.
I’m on the south shore but I’d say that’s a good looking pie. I like how they sprinkle some of the oregano or Italian seasoning on top of the pizza. It looks good. I’ve been doing that on my own homemade south shore bar pizzas lately.
this pizza
sucks
Love how you talked to the haters, love the commentary. Used to go there with my parents back in the 70's, good times. Glad to see the icon from that period is still going strong!
Saw a lot of greasy pies that look like hell on the gall bladder. Make my own pies at home. Lotta sayin' and sprayin' in this video, too.
Used to love the Hilltop Steakhouse. 😢
Place sucks hulk hogans ass
Also the owners are excellent people and great meatballs
Another great video. That said though, I’d like to possibly be the first one to criticize the background music usually played at the beginning of the videos.. It sounds like something an Instagram bimbo model would play on a tropical beach destination, meanwhile it’s on the north shore.. Thought you liked Metallica and Pantera dude?!
Anyway South Shore bar pizzas all day!!! 🙌🏻
Are you a joke ? I was just at prince on route one again after years ago . It was overpriced trash then and it still is!!!
Outrageous prices for personal size little pizza that is no better than Ellios frozen pizza !!!
Their appetizers aren’t any better . Mozzarella sticks were meh and the toasted raviolis were dry and meh
The pizza though !! Give me a break .
Go there and spend a fortune if you have memories as a kid
Otherwise you’re better off finding one of the few papa Gino’s left
My dad’s 86 & from Margaret Street in the NE. We are a Regina’s tribe or sometimes The European for massive oval pizzas on Hanover.
My dad consumed pizza like a T-Rex would take down puppies.
I remember going to Prince (we called it the Leaning Tower of Pizza) when I was about 11 or 12. I asked my folks what anchovies were and my dad made “a face”. He would come to regret exposing his “tell”.
I got my own small anchovy pizza. To test my theory of the protection because of my dad’s revulsion, I ate 1/2 then went to the backhouse.
When I came back, a Christmas miracle on Rt 1.
It remained untouched by my mom, dad & two brothers.
Let’s just say I acquired a taste for the little brislings! 🐟
Grew up in Saugus and I gotta say, Prince was a great place for a pizza party when we won a game or whatever because they had so many seats. But there were so many great pizza places around there, Prince would have been in the bottom third of pizzas in and around Saugus. As far as the icons of Route One disappearing, nothing hurts more than Santoro's closing. 😢
Prince pizza is even delicious cold the next day!!!!Cant believe you missed the chicken wings……absolutely hidden gem at Prince!!!
You crack me up !
OMG Michael — another great review! I love Boston and you bring us THE BEST!!! Happy New Year, Pal!
Woh, why you flip the bird. I like this channel. Keep up the good work
WHAT ? OH MIKE'S DOING HIS REVIEW GO AWAY SUN FOR A MOMENT . GREAT REVIEW PIZZA RULES .🎉❤
Their pizza was never above average but the pizza & spaghetti buffet they used to have during their earlier hours was a good deal. I also miss the salad bar area with the bread and butter you could serve yourself. At least their other Italian dishes are still pretty good.
southie fah life kid
You got the booze shakes😂😂
Awesome job Mike! We need everyone to know about Prince ! Legendary
I love Prince
Was Lenny Clark there??? Driving up Rt 1 going to NH as a kid. This brings me back.

love the North Shore places used to live there brings back a lot of memories
especially when you hit some of my favorites and they get a good review
what can be better than seeing your cute face shovel food into the pie hole
F Y Sun 🖕 🌞
do they have TVs for a ballgame while you eat?
Hahaha chew however you want 😂
wondrous 🍕 🍕 🍕 🔥
I must disagree – crust is awful. Feels mass produced
Prince now a days is way off when the father was alive things where much better the old school cooks where decent now it's a waste of money you need roll aids tums afterwards
As a New Englander, I am loving the food review with the Bawston accent and attitude. You earned a sub here.
Too much beard scruff. This is a pizza review, stop harping on the North Shore Beef to start the videos. Classic place. Big miss showing us the beauty of how it was cooked and they cutting to you overdue for renovation kitchen. You should have enjoyed it right there so you could bring it in for the chef who set you up. Loved the outtake style I'm in the cah with grungy grab handle shot. That deserved a higher score. Dave get's it right by trying the pie ASAP, that can be your New Year's resolution.
Man you spit on the camera every word you spoke lol
Your right about that the opening shop I instantly thought about
The orange T. rex at the mini golf batting cages
Hill top steak out
And Kelly’s
Kowloon
Man that’s wild times really do change
