We can’t get conecuh on the west coast. It’s the sausage that tastes so good. I paid $100 just in shipping during covid just to get 12lbs of it. 😢 $200 total.😅

Crock pot cooking is great all year round but in my opinion, if you have to cook with the crock pot in a particular season, it is the summer months that are great because who wants to fire up the oven when it's already hot out? Cooking with the oven is great for the cooler months for me. It warms up the house and makes for cozy vibes.

Just FYI though I LOVE Nicole and her recipes, please do NOT lock the lid to your slow cooker while cooking with it. The locking feature is for when you have cooked your meal and are transporting it to another place so it doesn't leak and spill. For cooking you do not want to lock it.

I have to brown the meat first then glaze the pan, and I know it's easier to buy veggies cut up already but it's cheaper to buy them separately and cut them up.
