What did you have for Christmas dinner??? This year I was in charge of making pesto, grilled chicken, salad, and a garlic and Italian herb inclusion loaf. The pesto came out really well made with A LOT of basil, freshly grated Parmesan, sea salt, fresh garlic, cracked pepper, and olive oil. The sourdough loaf was just my standard recipe with plenty of fresh garlic and Italian herbs. I added the inclusions after the pull and slaps and during the stretch and folds. The pasta bar we had was delicious and the grilled chicken and meatballs were the perfect addition. How was your Christmas dinner? Make anything new? Or did you stick to tradition?

On Christmas Eve I went to the Chinese buffet with my mom and sister, then went to the movies and saw ‘Anaconda’. Then I went to my mom’s for Christmas morning and made us bananas foster French toast, Cracker Barrel’s hash brown casserole, and some crispy bacon; and we washed it down with chocolate milk. As we exchanged gifts, we played Christmas music on my phone and the Netflix Yule Log on hers.
