  1. You are the only, THE ONLY, food show that has ever shown lupini beans. I love them. They are my favorite snack with or without beer. My grandparents are off the boat immigrants from small town north of Italy and we always had big dishes of them at my grandparents house all the time. As I kid I also lived a couple years in Italy and again had them all the time but fondest memory is they sold them at Rome zoo to walk around and snack on. They rolled up newspapers or a butcher like paper into a cone and filled it with lupini beans. Thank you for showing. Italians need to talk more about them.

  2. Hey kid you got all the right spots! Great review! All iconic spots in Bklyn! Don't forget Pastaso for the Mozzarella, Lionis and Panneatico for the sandwiches.Little cupcake shop for the coffee! And i am sure there are many more!

  3. WELL DONE MY LOVE 💓. THE BUTCHER SHOP. YEAH, I LIVE AFEW BLOCKS FROM THERE. THE SANDWICHES ARE GAS!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO YOU AND THE FAMILY ❤❤❤

  4. Great tour.
One little, little quip: you can say Merry Christmas to the sandwich guy or the bakery. Not the generic Happy Holidays.
And I say this as a New York Jew—- we all grew up knowing that most people— certainly, a Latino making Italian sandwiches or an Italiano— celebrate Christmas.

Anyway, wonderful video. I might even trek out to Brooklyn to partake of such wonderful food

  5. Calamari. Cook it very long or very quick. Start with the best we can afford.
The margins are amazing but it only works because these guys know how to treat it.

  6. "There's nothing less sexy than eating a sandwich in front of a camera"
Strong disagree, but it's like a free country, you know?

  7. Farideh I just clicked on this video because you are gorgeous. Let me know what airport in or near NYC I can pick you up so we can go out on a date. If you are seeing someone my apologies and they are very lucky. Happy holidays.
