For anyone who has ever looked at a plate of chicken parmesan and thought, “I wish I could eat this with my hands,” one New York City restaurant has created a solution.
Quality Italian, a steakhouse from the Quality Branded restaurant group (alongside the likes of Quality Eats and Smith & Wollensky), offers a dish at dinner called the “Quality Parm-Pizza for Two,” which reimagines the Italian classic into a serious party food. Spiced ground chicken is molded to form the crust of the pie, then breaded and fried to a glistening golden brown. Sauce, cheese, and fresh basil complete the pizza, which is sliced into hand-holdable wedges. (Thought no one would criticize you if you went the fork and knife route instead โ it’s chicken parm, after all!) Watch the video above to see how the dish is made, from start to cheesy, meaty finish.
