I tried to stick to the old school traditional method with only tomato paste only although a lot of Italians also add crushed tomatoes.

    I did grow up saying I love you but tbh as an adult my mom doesn't want that anymore. 😂 She makes an ewww face when I say it!!! 🤣🤣🤣 So I try to let her be a tsundere in peace.

    I love your channel not only about the food but also about the love you all show for each other. Sometimes, it's hard to say I love you, especially when you didn't grow up hearing or saying it.     My dad pretty much never told me he loved me. But he showed his love in so many ways, including his amazing cooking. I never doubted that he loved me.

    Love your commentary on this! This is the same in my culture (Black American) with soul food. In our culture, growing up, my grandmother, mother, and aunties did not say “I love you, but expressed it to us through their cooking. When I got older, I started telling them “I love you” along with making them hug me (another taboo). Now, my entire family tells each other they love them and hugs are plentiful. It’s such a heartwarming thing to see because we’re teaching our younger families how to love on each other. Keep cooking your wonderful meals with love…I appreciate you. Stay blessed. ❤️🙏🏽❤️
