”It has no crust.. and the texture is nothing like a cheesecake… and they call it a Torte… but its a cheesecake!!”
Perfect example of how it is to be an American
That sounds pretty damn delicious
Looks like Swedish cheesecake texture

I'm sorry but that looks rachet, and extremly dry like cornbread, probably throw up if I ate it, love modern pumpkin pie though.
❤❤❤❤
With the sheer amount of brown sugar you put in, I think I now have type 3 diabetes.
❤❤❤❤
I want to make this and call it my @greedypeasant cheesecake,, cause i too want to taste what the pope ate lolol
wait, is this gluten free?
Torta is cake lol
Questo cheescake buonissimi
Try it with broth and tell us if it’s good!
Weren't "godly men" like the Pope not sipposed to indulge in gluttony – it being one of the 7 deadly sins? 🤡
Butternut is superior to pumpkin, regarding the ease of processing and munchability of roasted seeds.
Pumpkins are only preferred as custard pie shells.
Sticky Buns please. I'd love to see your take on them! 🥜🍞🍯
it looks a bit dry tho
the eggs didn’t get you??
I tried modern pumps cheesecake. It didn't taste good 🤢
You got me at "pumpkin cheesecake" but damn does it look ugly.
I first saw this recipe on your channel a couple of years ago. I have tried it with butternut squash and canned puree as well as using a pumpkin. They were all great. I did cut back the amount of cream by a quarter and the cinnamon as well. I would like to try a savoury version by cooking the pumpkin in veal or chicken stock and use poultry type herbs but I am still working on the recipe. In the meantime, this is my favourite pumpkin pie cheese cake ever.
watermelon was considered pumpkinis
as to a cleaver, move your forefinger + thumb out on to the blade itself, for best control

& for whisking eggs, try a single chopstick

Ratios btwn 2:1 to 1:1
Also Nutmeg

Hey have you done meals of history soldier edition? Like the meals of Spartans, Zulu, Aztecs, warriors. it could be a mini series on your channel 😎
Oooo this one is getting sent to my dad… 👍♥️♥️♥️ Yummy oh yeah I'm all for this, this season. This will surely beat the the previous attempts at this cheesecake. I can't wait. ❤❤❤ Happy Thanksgiving everyone
Thank you for the recipe. That looks great. Interesting twist, using beef broth.
The marscapone, brown sugar and ginger tip it more towarrd sweet than savory and like a canoli filling.
If it's from 1570, then it's the 16th century, not the 17th.
Looks yummy, Max. Maybe send one to Pope Leo for Christmas, with a note about the history.
Wouldn’t it be 16th century? Sounds even more impressive that way!
That clever is a beauty!
holy cinnamon batman
not cheesecake, not even close, this is a curd at best
That looks like it would be absolutely delicious!
"A little butter"
Adds 3 sticks of butter.
Pumpkin is disgusting
That looks amazing and I know this is very different so don't come after me it's a modern take on things but take a look at Bisquick impossible pumpkin pie squares they are very similar just not with the cheesecake part of things they are delicious
you say sixteenth century and then you say seventeenth century
1570 is 16th century
Pumpkin Pope Cheesecake
Oh! To be a guest at your dinner table during the holidays!!!
This seems like a jetson’s cake.
