1 large onion
1 garlic clove
440g / 2 cups marinara sauce
475 ml / 2 cups beef broth or water
1 green bell pepper
411g / 14.5 ounces canned diced tomatoes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 bay leaf
220 g / 8 oz noodles (uncooked)
Parmesan (optional)
Parsley (optional)
Salt and Black pepper to taste

  1. This is Litterally Beef Stroganoff using ground beef instead of Beef cubes/stew meat. We make it the same way and serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.

  2. I made this tonight, it came out AMAZING!! I just doubled the mushrooms and drained the fat from the meat before putting in the butter and flour. Doing that made the sauce very thick and satisfying. Thank you for the great recipe, I'll probably be making this the rest of my life now! ❤

  3. And the beauty of these recipes is that you don't have to use pasta if you don't want to [I like it, others in my family prefer potatoes instead, easily substituted]. Will definitely be trying the first one though, I love both mushrooms and onion with my mince, can't wait.

  4. I like the taste of onions, but i can't stand the texture and it makes me lose my appetite. I wish i didn't have this problem, because onions are basically in almost every basic food..
