Buckle up your tastebuds (what?) for a cheesy, noodle-y journey of epic portions/proportions. From microwave to microplane, I’m pulling out all the stops to explore the highest highs and the lowest lows of America’s favorite pastime, mac & cheese. Pour a glass of the good stuff, learn some new tricks, and follow along as I push this ooey-gooey medium to the very brink of possibility. Welcome Back to Babish.

  1. my hack for the easy mac is adding a spoonful or two of some mayo, makes it super creamy and pretty tasty in my opinion

  2. this one has like 10 dollars more of a production budget then the other random videos i saw last from babish

  3. I wish various Youtubers I like stopped using alcoholic beverages as signifiers of their manliness or coolness or whatever. It's toxic and immature and entirely unnecessary. You are cool, the drink doesn't help. Unless you wanted to be explicitly uncool of course, in which case you're giving mixed signals, which also isn't all that helpful. (I enjoy a drink now and then, I just don't think it's something to advertise in this context)

  4. On a more on-topic note: I had to look up unevaporated milk, but it's unsweetened condensed milk – which makes sense, I just never heard the name.

  5. there are other much better boxed mac out there than craft, but you do end up having to pay like twice as much for the box.
