Do you have a recipe for sweet chilli or sweet and sour sauce? Seeing those soy curls reminds of my favourite dish to order from the Chinese take away before I was vegan. Crispy shredded chicken in sweet and sour sauce.

While I would like to try your recipes, they are always so ingredient heavy. For someone who doesn't have a cupboard full of the extra stuff, these would cost too much. Especially if I don't even know I would like them. They look great
I can’t get soy curls where I live… what do you recommend as an alternative?
A mortar and pestle is another good way to smash up chipotles for sauces. I find it's also easier to clean than a cutting board.

I just made the pulled pork sandwich…it was very tasty. The texture was great and the pairing with the slaw worked well. I would suggest adding a bit of liquid smoke to better emulate the pulled pork flavor. Thanks for the recipe!

Im an avid mushroom hater too, so appreciate the warning. These look so delicious.
I have cooked so many different recipes with mushrooms trying to get my husband to not just tolerate but actually like mushrooms (the goal is for us to each eat at least one serving of mushrooms in a week for health benefits, but he thinks they taste like dirt and doesn’t like the texture). So I made your black bean tacos tonight with high hopes but low expectations (dozens of mushroom recipes before this one have gotten thumbs down)… and we both loved them! I subbed regular pickled onions from the pickling recipe in your cookbook, because I had some leftover from earlier in the week. And we also put some of the green pepper Cholula hot sauce on them. So good! You have no idea how relieved we both are that I can now stop with all the mushroom experiments. 😅 We are just gonna add these tacos into the weekly rotation. Thank you so very much for this recipe. 🎉

The recipes look great….but how can you arrange the tacos in such an irregular pattern on the baking tray. I feel violated 😂
I made the tacos yesterday (had to adapt a few ingredients, used canned kidneybeans and no nutritional yeast and lemon juice instead of lime because cook with what you have ;-)), and they were amazing. Thank you for sharing the recipe! I guess with black beans and lime the taste will be even more mindblowing❤
