i would bet money that frozen spinach ala creme has a better taste and texture…..
Gordon Ramsey is in love, because he uses lots of salt. It will be a very salty dish.
For a salty meal, here in Germany we say that the cook is in love. 😂
a dish like he makes really needs some bite,roasted seeds,or a mix with dried tomato flakes….cant give him a good grade on this one,like a blind painter…
This guy needs to relax. Every little opportunity he wants to criticise. I get he doesnt like Gordon Ramsay but relax 😂. And also those pasta you can find fresh in UK supermarkets so it can be cooked in 3mins.

I mean, dry pasta is fine. Just.. call it dry pasta.
and btw – "cheap" pasta or "cheaper" doesn't always mean worse. For example: Barilla is something i consider bad. We have 5 different brands in our supermarket. 2 (and in some markets 3, because the store own brand actually is good from one of our supermarkets, no yellow pasta and i checked ingridients) are better than barilla – and one of them is even cheaper.
Edit: if you look at his pot, it has a little steamhole. exactly for that. My lid has this as well, this allows the steam to escape even when the lid is fully placed

There are some wrong steps Gordon took, but he did great making the sauce.
The pasta was cooked. In almost every grocery store in the UK you can buy "fresh pasta" which cooks in 2-5 minutes depending on the brand. I can even make a guess at the brand; Waitrose fresh fusilli, which wouldn't you know cooks in 3 minutes.
Now if some of you in the comments want to get your knickers in a twist about whether it is actually "fresh pasta" then please waste your time bickering and mocking but know you are wrong about the cooking time.
Im a big fan of GR since long time ago. Just reminder for you, dont ever put any expectation when it comes Ramsay in 10 segment. It is a segment where he (usually) gonna ruin a dish, like many so-called chef did in social media recently. You can put high expectation on him when he cooks on outdoor, i guarantee you gonna love it. For his old videos (maybe below than 2012/13 videos), he just try to make something as could as he knows. Can you put any expectation? You can, but dont too high, especially when it comes to non-UK/US dishes.
