  1. Yup, accurate review. Greek pizza is only one tier above boardwalk pizza because of the sauce. Crust that'll break a tooth (literally happened to me). Not great.

  2. Imagine a potential post review discussion with the owner;
    " How did you like it?"
    " I said it was great, maybe a 9, ……if you're a psycho in an insane asylum."

    "……."

  3. I had to ask Grok what is Greek style pizza.

    Greek-style pizza is a distinct type of pizza originating from Greek-American communities, particularly in New England. It’s characterized by a thick, chewy crust baked in a heavily greased, shallow round pan, giving it a crispy, golden edge. Unlike traditional Italian pizza, the crust is often doughy and focaccia-like, with a slightly oily texture due to the pan preparation.

    The toppings typically reflect Greek culinary influences, featuring a tangy tomato sauce (sometimes spiced with oregano or other herbs) and a blend of cheeses, often including feta alongside mozzarella. Common toppings include olives, onions, green peppers, and sometimes meats like gyro meat or sausage. The sauce and cheese are applied generously, and the pizza is usually cut into square or rectangular slices.

    It’s a hearty, flavorful pizza style, often associated with Greek-owned pizzerias in the U.S., blending Mediterranean flavors with American pizza traditions.

  4. Greek pizzas tend to have a thicker crust, heavy on the sauce and lots of cheese.
    Whole milk full fat mozzarella always leaves the grease slick.
    Everybody knows the rules.

  5. I can honestly say that Greek style pizza is a top type pizza for me and I like it way better than the New Haven appiza style.

  6. well they are Greek,George and his brothe mr Spiro,cant get any moee Greek then that,but better then harwichport house of pizza for sure

  7. Grew up in Harwich going to George's, it looks exactly the same! About the same rating too since I'm Italian. Our Greek neighbor built most of the houses in our neighborhood when it was just being developed. Hit a lot of good notes Dave

  8. Few random things trigger me more than "za" it shouldn't bother me as much as it does but here we are.

  9. It’s a good place if you smoked out and you got the munchies, but there’s a lot of other better pizza around. I grew up eating this pizza always thought BZs was better in the 90s.
