  2. That's a very expensive ice cream surely you know how much pistachios are? There are much cheaper and healthier options without cream or even dairy, as I said frozen bananas or coconut milk or solid coconut blended is a great option you can always add a handful of pistachios plus I don't think it's safe to put glass in the freezer

Sorry but this is not an ice cream, its only a 3 ingedients mix… An ice crem must be have a % of solids (Milk 32%, cream 34%, 0% fat milk skim power, dextrose or trimoline or glucose) and must mature overnight in the refrigerator before churning in an ice cream maker…. You have simply whipped the cream, chop pistachios and add that crazy amount of sweetener…..

  5. It is not necessary to blend 250 grams of pistachoes in such a large blender jar. It is more convenient to use a 4 cups food processor or lower capacity

  6. Instead of blending the heavy cream with a whisk blender, i just throws it in the regular blender with the sweetened condensed milk. This way, it's less dishes. I know this tastes good. Plastic wrap when freezing is key to not get freezer burn on the ice cream. Enjoy! 😋

  10. Yes, this is going to be a very rich ice cream. You can cut down on the heavy cream and add in milk, but the ice cream will not be as smooth and creamy and will have some ice crystals in it.

  11. INGREDIENTS
    * 10.5 oz (300 g) Pistachios peeled or 250g/9oz pistachio paste
    * 1 can (400 g) Sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
    * 2 cup (480 ml) Heavy cream cold
    * Vanilla extract optional

    INSTRUCTIONS
    * Make Pistachio Paste (optional): Peel the pistachios from the shell. Then place them in a clean kitchen towel and shake to remove as much skin as possible. Place the pistachios in a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy. 

    * This process may take 10-15 minutes (depending on your blender) so be patient. Transfer the paste into a bowl, if in this stage the paste is warm place in the fridge. 

    * Making homemade pistachio paste is optional. If you prefer to simplify the process, just use store-bought pistachio paste or pistachio cream.

    * Make the Ice Cream: In a large bowl, place cold heavy cream. Whip to stiff peaks. 

    * Add sweetened condensed milk, pistachio paste and whisk on low speed until incorporated. Chop 1/4 of pistachios and add to the ice cream, gently fold. This step is optional.

    * Freeze: Transfer into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight. Serve!
