FOR PIZZA:
Dough
Marinara sauce
16 oz block Mozzarella cheese, shredded
16 oz block cheddar cut in strips for crust
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan, Romano or
Asiago cheese
Garlic powder
Oregano
Olive oil
Toppings if desired: pepperoni, fresh
mushrooms, sliced onions, sliced bell
pepper, etc.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Spread dough on pizza pan or stone with hands, if it doesn’t reach edges, let rest for a few minutes then stretch to overhang at the edge. Place cheddar strips along the inside edge of pan and cover with the dough pressing down to seal. Rub olive oil on dough, sprinkle crust with garlic powder. Cover with tea towel and let rise about 15 minutes. Add a thin layer of sauce and sprinkle with half the Parmesan cheese. Cook on bottom rack for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven add more sauce, then maozzarella cheese and the rest of the Parmesan cheese. You can add any toppings on top. Sprinkle with oregano. Cook another 20 minutes on bottom rack.

Move to top rack and set oven on broil and keep oven door ajar. Remove when top of pizza starts bubbling and gets brown. Let sit for a few minutes before slicing.
