He clearly thought this was a 7.7 but felt trapped by saying he would be an idiot if the pizza wasn't an 8. He talked about it like it was going to be a 8.7.

dave is so misunderstood…anything over a 7 is decent pizza, any thing over an 8 is a high score
Wow, shocked by this score. I moved to CT a year ago, and have tried about 20 spots. I found Annas once when working down the street, and it's easily become a favorite of mine. If I had to rank my Top 3 it'd go Modern, Roseland, Annas. The "3 Kings" (Aka MAGA dorks) are all at the very bottom.

I’m from CT and not impressed by this trip here. The places that you have gone to just don’t look that great compared to other times he’s been here but none of the places he’s been to in the last week or two have not looked good.

Many commenters are reviewing the review, and I have to agree, are disappointed in the score. We're at the disadvantage of just being able to see and not taste the pizza of course (vast majority of folks), but why wasn't this score higher?
