  1. Emmy, I love your videos and I am impressed by the amount of storage space you must have to store all of your gadgets.

  2. As a senior that grew up in the 60s and 70s, and was in college in the early 80s, I shudder to think that anything from then is considered "vintage" and "old". Makes my 64 years feel well earned.

  3. I make very similar Lemon Sorbet, but I use 1cup each water and sugar, bring to a boil, with peeled lemon zest, then add half cup lemon juice (give or take a bit to taste) then let it cool, removed peeled zest, refrigerate then churn. SO good in summer. not too sweet, not too tart and wonderfully refreshing!

  4. I had exactly the same ice cream maker in my cupboard. I took it and makings to have my grandson make ice cream. The exact same thing happened ( nothing!) when we plugged it in. I had the instruction book and everything also! Sad things!

  5. I grew up in NJ, just outside of NYC. Around the corner, there was an old soda shop, snd they sold the best Italian ice in paper cups. You had to eat fast, because they heat would get it pretty fast. You’d have rivulets running down your hands and the stickiness was epic. Lol

  6. Growing up we had the "lemon ice" lady! She had a little store front with a drum size container. I think it was a small family-run business. It was the best I've ever eaten. This goes back to 60 years ago. I believe they still have it, but I haven't lived there in a long time.

  7. i just made this recipe it was phenomenal i also made another version with lime and fresh mint for a mojito type flavor that came out awesome

  8. Hi Emmy!
My name is Vicky. Not sure if you or anyone ever remembers the ice cream parlor named Swenson’s? The graphic design hanging lamp on the front of the ice cream maker reminds me of that same one that the brick and mortar shop had in it.

  9. Just when you thought she'd be done saying the phrase that's on her shirt … she throws in one more. haha!
Thanks for the video. Looks yummy!

  10. I am always disappointed when I purchase bag of lemons from Walmart in AZ, as they never had a lemony flavor, instead being only sour, and even the zest lacks a noticeable lemony aroma, I'm not sure in other state Walmarts

  11. This may sound strange lol but can you do a video about harvesting or cooking/making recipes with insects idk if u have before but you’re always trying different weird recipes and give background knowledge on them so would be cool to see

  12. I am from Massachusetts, sometimes I visit Hampton Beach which is in New Hampshire. Last time I went, I saw a vendor selling "dells" and I was like so disappointed. If you want good dells must be in road Island

  13. I'm sure this is yummy but we have Del's. It's a Rhode Island institution. Hell, they even have stands outside Home Depot. A family friend and his long time partner got married a few years back and the catering was spectacular but the best thing was they hired a Del's cart for right after the ceremony. FREE DEL'S by the seaside in June. It doesn't get much better.
