  1. Definitely crushing on the caramelized onion pasta, but I'm going to add some grilled chicken or pork.

  2. Pasta is north african.
    Sit.

Jk but the preachiness is annoying. If something isn't called "Italian pasta" then stop judging it by Italian standards. No one cares.

  3. Some cheddar is naturally yellow due to various factors. You need to try some top quality Wisconsin cheese. I remember reading an article some years back that in an international competition, a Wisconsin cheddar was rated the best cheese in the world. All the comments were French and Italians telling the judges to die in painful ways. 😂

  4. I am with Vincenzo, and I could only cope with half of these dreadful recipes. The yoghurt one was by far the worst, A one for all of them, 🤢🤮. Definitely, feel for you in watching all these cooking disasters.

  5. Vincenzo, I very much recommend you react to Joshua Weissman's, "I cooked for an Italian grandma" video if you haven't already. It's super authentic, wholesome, and funny. I think you would really love it.

  6. As the inexperienced home cook I was couple years ago my first carbonara I did put cream because that’s what the recipe I was following online had. I told my friend I made this dish and was really proud until he told me what I did was all wrong (for a traditional recipe)

Then I started searching online for authentic carbonara recipes and stumbled on to your channel. The amount of things I’ve learned through this channel is remarkable.

Thank you Vincenzo for all the amazing videos you put out.

  7. I'd like to see a video of Vincenzo recreating the caramelized onion pasta, from this video. or he can create a version of his own.

  8. Vincenzo stumbled on the one video that futurecanoe actually cooked a good meal lol. I like the channel but i dont ever try to recreate the food i see on there.

  9. Tbf he trying the other people’s viral recipe so it’s not his fault (mostly), also well he does always swaps ingredients when he doesn’t have them 😅

  10. I understand your frustration😢, but don't take his words literally😅, even when he's complaining or saying bad about something. FC channel original aim is to recreate food as a level 1 chef. So, unless his video mentions in video he is making something as people want him to make as a professional chef, you can't consider it a professional chef channel😅.
It is a comedy first, food later channel. I go to his channel for comedy and come to you channel for authentic recipe.

  11. 10:05 Even I don't understand but chicken lovers are too many in this world just like beef lovers. I can't eat beef but I have tried chicken many times but I don't understand the flavor/hype without the good preparation. Like when I tried roast chicken I felt dissapointed.

  12. You cant react the "universal" pasta recipe as POV of Italian, except the recipe is Italian and you react as Italian.

  13. 9:30 it's a meat fat more fat and seasoning ofc it's gonna be tasty in quilty way proper italian pasta dishes taste great and feels better on health

  14. Pasta is a versatile ingredient, i think if you find a recipe you like you should keep enjoying it, there are many cultures around the world that use pasta in food that traditionally isn't put together but cultures make it work

  15. The turkish pasta is actually a take on quite an old turkish dish called "turkish manti". You substitute the manti with pasta and ground beef individually. That recipe is also quite old and has been done in turkey back to the 13th century.

  16. I have to disagree with your takes here, he didnt say theyre viral Italian recipes, theyre viral pasta dishes. As you said people from different regions mix, when different people meet each other, so does the cultures. When you carry pasta over from Italy to india, indians will see versatility of pasta and make their own dishes, you have the same for noodles, china, japan and korea have noodles but different recipes.
Once these food transfer to a different country its disingenuous to believe the culture will not combine. Because they will combine and the Italian pasta in India will no longer be considered an Italian recipe, the pasta is Italian but what the Indians use it for is no longer italian.
Gate keeping foods especially vertile ones like pasta is poisonous to cooking in my opinion.
This goes back to what i said at the beginning hes not reviewing Italian dishes hes reviewing pasta dishes, not all pasta dishes r Italian, though we agree pasta itself is italian.
This is what i believe, bc food should be about coming up with recipes, inventing new ones, and the mindset that pasta cant be used in this way and rice cant be used in that way. For me takes the fun out of cooking.
Be open minded, when people mix, culture mix, and thus food mixes

  17. problem with viral videos is that they rarely make sense. usually dont look bad. but often the stuff used makes no sense and sometimes sound horrorying.

  18. ppl don't like to eat anymore, they want to feed the hunger and nothing else … flavour doesn't matter anymore apparently (๑>ᴗ<๑)

  19. 1. first, do your own analysis / reaction / recreation of the viral recipes. A rewarding concept.
    2. I attended university in Canada and obviously, if you have more important things to do than cooking, and not want to spend maximum 30 minutes cooking, eat something to fill your stomach and get to spend your evening with analysing data sets or reading books… I'm pretty sure I bought some pre-made Alfredo sauce. Don't think I bought it more than twice and pretty much went with some tomatoes and basil, or something, and when I watched you video on Alfredo…. surely what I ate wasn't Alfredo.
    3. New York Pizza is an entirely different concept. Pretty much, Italian Pizza makes the taste and ingredients do their thing, New York pizza is literally that you get overwhelmed with flavour.
    4. And I absolutely am with you on the caramelized onion pasta, excellent concept, just find a way to make it work 100%. And the whole world is relying on you, Vincenzo, to make it authentically Italian boss level.

  20. Hello Vincenzo! I was wondering if you've reviewed Alex (FrenchGuyCooking) and his Fettuccine Alfredo. He has one from 2 years ago that I believe is particularly interesting.

  21. The fact that those videos are making millions views is a sign that our world is in an existential crisis of taste and reason, and makes me more sure that I will never want to (or can) live in the American society. Thanks Vincenzo for keeping up the fight against tastelessness and for the dignity of pasta and Italian cuisine !

  22. Always remember viral can also mean it's so bad people had to watch it 3 times and then ask their friends to confirm that they really saw what they think they saw.

  23. This guy cannot cook, and his "porterhouse" looked more like a T-bone. He murdered that poor steak. With such a thin steak it has to be just seared and taken off the heat. And I agree with you. I loke to do steak and pasta at times. I make my homemade marinara sauce and the spaghetti and sauce are not mixed with the steak You can put them on the same plate, but the two need to be eaten on their own.

  24. (Greek/Strained) Yogurt is super good with pasta, a healthy alternative to heavy cream. You can boil pasta, then put it in the pan a bit with olive oil and garlic and at the end when you take it out, leave it a minute to cool down a bit then put some Greek/Strained yogurt to coat the pasta and mix, then add black pepper. It is really close to a traditional recipe from my region, but of course you won't find the pasta we do, you can try tagliatelle or something with double the width.
