Salad Dressing Recipes are a common staple in my house especially Italian salad dressing.

Hi! Karriann Graf with Creative Cooking Corner. And we’re going to make one of my favorite salad dressings, and that’s a zesty Italian! And we’re going to use all kinds of fresh herbs.

This Italian dressing we’re going to make is really zesty and it just has lots of flavor, so I’m going to start by adding some of my vinegar. Then I have some grape seed oil or you can use olive oil as well if you like. Then also for vinegar I use cider vinegar. You can also use rice vinegar or red wine vinegar if you wanted.

I’m going to add a little bit of salt, some onion powder, some fresh ground black pepper. Then I’m going to add some roasted garlic. And I’ve roasted so it’s not so harsh. That’s why I always try to use as much roasted garlic as possible in my salad dressings.

I’m just going to chop up some fresh herbs. I have fresh parsley. I’ve got fresh thyme, a couple of basil leaves, and some fresh oregano. I’m just going to put it in a pile. I’m just going to chop. So now that I’ve chopped up my herbs, I’m going to just add them to my salad dressing bowl. I’m just going to add a little bit of raw agave syrup. I’m just going to whisk this together.

And I’m going to put this in the refrigerator for several hours or even overnight, because the flavors will melt together and that’s when it really has the zestiness that you want for an Italian dressing. Italian dressing is one of my favorites. It’s one that I eat almost every day on my salads, so I’m just going to chill this down. And I’ll serve it later!
