Mozzarella stretching, sausage stuffing, and a ceiling full of meat! Jo Franco is discovering what makes New York’s Little Italy so authentic. But this isn’t Manhattan, Jo’s heading to the Bronx’s Arthur Avenue for the challenge. In this neighborhood scavenger hunt, she meets the butchers, bakers, and pasta makers keeping Italian traditions alive. Along the way, she tastes her way through family-run institutions and uncovers what makes this Little Italy the real deal.

  1. I loved watching this so much! lolllll! even though its a short episode, it was filled with special moments that it felt like a big episode. Jo's personality shines through in this episodeeee! Did the baker give you a personal number we can reach him on? I would like to taste his olives. hehehehehe

  2. Wisconsin sausage maker here. I agree that this state doesn't make a lot of well known mozzarella, but it's dangerous to underestimate the possibilities. Most of us drink plenty and obsess about food. I promise there is quality that must be experienced, ya just need to know where to go.
