Two continents, two flavours — one delicious showdown
We tried two limoncellos — one from #italy and one from India — and we’re on a mission to find out which one comes out on top.
But first… what even is limoncello?
It’s a traditional Italian lemon #liqueur usually served chilled as a digestif after meals, but it also makes a bright, zesty base for refreshing #cocktails . Think citrusy, bold, and full of sunshine.
We started with Limonoro, straight from Italy. It pours a stunning golden yellow, feels premium, and has a smooth, clean finish without being overly sweet — classic Italian restraint.
Then came Mikiamo Limoncello — India’s very first homegrown take. Bottled in #goa with lemon infusions from Italy, it’s sweeter on the tongue with a warm, spiced aftertaste that hits the Indian palate just right.
