Few eating experiences are more iconic than the classic red sauce dinner. On this episode of Pro Moves, Adam Richman heads back to his hometown of Brooklyn, New York to explore the big, bold flavors of homestyle Italian-American cooking. First, Adam gets a crash course in old-world pasta manufacturing at Queen Ann Ravioli & Macaroni—a Brooklyn institution that’s using a massive, 124-year-old machine to make some of the best pasta in the country. Then, Adam meets up with his old friend Frank Pinello, as well as Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, for a feast at legendary red sauce restaurant, Michael’s of Brooklyn. Come for the kernels of red sauce wisdom; stay for the Goodfellas references.

Let's settle the debate once and for all: Do you call it sauce or gravy?
I only found out 2 weeks ago that Adam has been doing programmes again. Missed him 👏👍 he's like an old pal ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When i was a kid, Before queen ann Ravioli, there was silver star Rivioli. I was born in redhook Brooklyn.
Truth in video. 👍👍❤❤
This is why I hate eating out in my area, in New Jersey. There is no place like Michael's here. I was born in Brooklyn to an Italian Mother. Nothing compares to when we would get together with my Italian relatives for a meal. God how I miss it.
Adam Richman is the absolute best. Been watching him every chance I get since 2006's Man Vs. Food.
Pro Moves??? The Pro Move was getting Adam back doing what he loves!! OG Presenter of food!! Adam my boy you been away too long!!
Where’s the Parmesan to top of all that goodness pasta
First we feast giving Adam his own show was a brilliant decision. Seeing him go around and just enjoying food while talking is great entertainment
Antipasto doesn't mean "Before the pasta". "Pasto" means "Meal". So "Antipasto" is "Before the meal". That's why it's served first.
Adam eats EVERYTHING.
PERIOD!
the code switching of adam richmond….
These guys have the best accents man i swear
I always loved watching Man vs Food but I skipped the last part of each episode where they did a food eating competition. I never cared about the big food or spicy food contests, I just liked watching Adam walk around different towns and show off the good places to eat. This show is like that, without me needing to skip any eating contests. I love it! Please keep this show going for many years, Adam was born to be a food show presenter.
Loved this episode
The ragu napoletano in which the meatballs were cooked looks amazing
Also the cotoletta
I know it’s been said… but as an avid MVF watcher back in the day, it’s so great to be watching Adam Richman again 😁
The best pasta in Brooklyn comes from Gersi, Cobble Hill. You're Welcome.
10:05 Love the goodfellas references but was hoping (perhaps not feasible) for a walk through of the kitchen all in one shot.
What's the names of the songs the guy was singing
This guy going the neck beard now ?
No frying the ballz , right directly into the sauce
just…..beautiful.
Italians looking at this will absolutely be annoyed
I swear I Italians do the most when it comes to food just for it all taste like olive garden 😂 MAMA MIA 😭
It's not before the pasta
Looks delicious for sure🤤
Adam’s father Alan had a show in the early 90’s on food network the co host was a lady Nina …they would review restaurants all over nyc… great show bring it back but this time with Adam…
George has that Christopher Walken style of pronunciation
It's wild how different the traiditional Italian cuisine is to Italian-american cuisine… Spaghetti meatballs? Alfredo pasta? Bolognese with spaghetti? None of these is Italian, if you ask for that in Italy they won't know what you are talking about or maybe even get offended. But I guess that's the point, the different cultures all have their twist on the same stuff and it's diverse and beautiful. I hope to visit New York once in my life, and try Italian-american food there.
Ummm…. I just ordered Dominos.
This was so dope, although I wish Frankie spoke more 😂. Italians just like us (black people) talking over one another
Technically it’s sheepshead’s bay
