Slow cooked lamb shoulder – the ultimate comfort food! In this video, I’m showing you how to make a melt-in-your-mouth lamb dish packed with bold flavours and aromatic herbs. It’s rustic, hearty, and perfect for a Sunday lunch or family dinner. This one cooks low and slow, just the way I like it. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Ingredients:

Shoulder of Lamb
Lemon Zest
Stock
Red Wine
Cumin
Paprika
Turmeric
Garlic Powder
Fresh Rosemary
Fresh Thyme
Celery
Garlic
Salt & Pepper
Leek
Bay Leaves

Piero’s Tips:

Brown the lamb first to lock in all those juices.
Don’t skip the leek and celery – they add amazing depth to the sauce.
Add your stock gradually and taste as you go. The lamb should be falling apart when it’s ready.
Serve it with creamy mash or crusty bread to soak up that beautiful sauce.

Buon appetito from me,

  1. I find your method of cooking very appealing, thank you for sharing.
Lamb is quite expensive in uk. I haven't eaten lamb since before X-mas 2 years ago, cooking for myself so I use small portions of meat usually.
