In Newark there is a place called Dickie Dee’s and they are famous for their Italian hotdogs. It was a favorite of Dad’s grandfather who everyone called Sammy Jiggs.
Dad has fond memories of eating these Italian Hotdogs as a kid and decided to pull out the family recipe, which was passed down from his Mom, for his #gamedaybuffet video submission.
What is the #gamedaybuffet? Well a great youtube channel called Kitche Queers came up with it. The idea is everyone makes a video for what they think of as “Game Day” food and tag it with the #gamedaybuffet.
