It might be the person. A lot of ppl get weird about cameras these days if you've ever seen audit type of videos.
They're hiding something if they care about filming. Maybe afraid a roach will pop out or old food.

I'm not sure why they would do that, unless they had something to hide? We have eaten there a few times and have enjoyed it. But I do know it's not consistent depending on where the restaurant is. My sister and her husband didn't care for it at all, which I think definitely had something to do as to where it was located. I can say this, you haven't missed anything, there are plenty of delicious eateries in Orlando to choose from. It was there loss!

Boycott Golden Coral not nice to potential customers shame on them.
Probably hiding health concerns. I would never eat at a buffet these days. Too many gross people and kids not washing hands

My local Golden Corral closed, was torn down, and a Millers Ale House was built in its spot. I’m guessing they aren’t doing too good.
Golden Corrall? you're not missing much.. last time I ate there…like about 7 years ago…found a couple of small screws in their pasta salad. never ate there again.
As a former fan of Golden Corral I can honestly say that their quality as gone down hill dramatically. Their breakfast buffet is decent but lunch and dinner is subpar for the most part. For many poor people it might be a big night out since you can eat as much as you want for not much money and they have steak (very mediocre steak) , shimp and the like. We ate at one a year or 2 ago and I can honestly say, my favorite thing was the bread roll LOL. I can see why they might not want a youtuber filming that, but you'd think they would be more diplomatic about it.

Some companies are like that. MSC Cruises gave vloggers a hard time. When I worked at a Disney Store, people were not allowed to take photos. ( there were no “vloggers” in those days.

Golden Corral. Eaten at their Clermont location several years ago and found it to be fairy decent re food and cleanliness. I think it all depends on location. I would have asked to speak with manager.
