  1. i think dave under-scores great pizza. a really fine pizza should rate a 9.1or 9.2 and a legendary pizza should score a 9.5 and above. a good pizza should rate in the 8's, a mediocre pizza should score 7's, and bad pizzas should score 6's and under. what is his problem? but i've totally enjoyed dave's reviews for years. he is a pizza legend.

  2. My sister in law lives just outside New Orleans. I always figured if we visited I would be eating all the great food from there. Looks like I will need to have some pizza as well.

  3. Dave’s gone soft. Everyone is a 7.8-8.2 now- he knows a bad or good score can make or break the business so he just goes in the middle

  4. I tired all pizaa he did in New Orleans ,my son and I, gave the best rating to St. Pizza, El supremo second, tforbiden pizza 3rd, and Zees uptown didn't like it at all, to burnt under carriage

  5. “Top 20, top 30 that I’ve had” means Forbidden and il Supremo have to be at least 8.7. Justice for Forbidden and il Supremo, everybody knows the rules

  6. I tried this place today. It's the overcooked crispy type where all the ingredients come off too baked into the pie to the point that it doesn't have that much flavor. Taste like quality crust with minor cheesiness and ingredient flavor. Ordered extra cheese, and didn't appear to get it. It was okay.

  7. You should go back to Bristol, PA and do Gabriela Tomato Pie 1!! I’m an honest guy and this place has the best pizza I ever had tbh

  8. He totaly missed a hidden gem in New Orleans, seems like he was mostly in the outside parishes for sone reason… NOLA Mia Pizzeria, check them out next time you are in town
