I made caramel for the first time on Friday (with the recipe!) and my first attempt was a complete failure 😂 got it on the second time though and figured out what I did wrong so it all worked out!
The baking equivalent of rocks is uncooked beans 😭 that’s what you use to weigh it down lol (usually a crust)

I don’t like flowers. My husband asks me what I want each year or I tell him. I’m simple. I like chocolate. He knows which one I usually like. This year he asked me if I’d want Lego roses. Those are the only flowers I like. In my opinion, flowers die and make a mess so I prefer chocolate and maybe a nice card. I’m not huge on Valentine’s Day. I think it’s overrated. My husband is the same so we just do something simple each year.

It’s awesome to watch how much you have learned from baking this way. 350 is a standard baking temperature for most baked goods. Most baking recipes also follow a crewing method; start by mixing wet ingredients then slowly add dry ingredients.
