  1. Too much stuff together, this sandwich might be good of course but it's definitely not Italian. No mayonnaise or mustard, as italian we rather rub half a tomato on the bread surface, put a little bit of extra vergin olive oil and then lay one type of cured meat and few slices of provolone (but not too much) and some lettuce. Probably the best matches with provolone are prosciutto or mortadella. You save the other cured meats for the next times 😎
