Looks absolutely delicious and I'd go the stove top method. But whilst all that is carnivore it would still have to be just the occasional treat, at least for me because cheese just doesn't tend to satiate as much….so maybe I would try it with a nice juicy fatty pork burger as the filler.

looks so yummy….two of our favorite ways to eat chaffles recently have been to use them as the "bread" for ketovore Reuben, and Gyros sandwiches. Oh my, so so good? I have also put pumpkin pie spice in the batter before and then topped the chaffles with whipped heavy cream that I added a dash of vanilla too. Chaffles are just delish!

Yes Cassie, you have just entered a yummy but possible "danger zone"! But amazing! Mostly because chaffles increase cheese consumption and we all know the pros and cons of that. One tip you may not have tried — If you sprinkle a layer of just cheese into the waffle iron just before putting in the batter (yes it won't burn!) and then another sprinkle of cheese over the top of the wet batter before closing the waffle iron, you will get a much crispier outside crust. It's great for when you want more crunch. Experiment with how much to sprinkle. I will not speak of the sweetened versions so as to not trigger anyone this January!

I made a carnivore bread yesterday and it was to rubbery and tasted like eggs. Granted I had to use a dozen eggs in the recipe. I will definitely be trying this recipe today! Thank you for such an easy recipe. I hope you and Larry have a wonderful week.
I love my Dash mini waffle maker, or any with more shallow plates that do not hold much egg mixture. That combined with what others have mentioned about the cheese, seems to be key to a crispier, more toasted like texture that’s not so fluffy. I find overall that I prefer cheddar cheese for the fat content, which again results in a crispier texture. I use Monterrey jack or mozzarella for less savory or sweetened recipes. If you consider getting a Dash Mini, I recommend the multi maker, unless you have the time and patience to make cook one at a time.
Oh my goodness how could you not have heard of chaffles? I make mine once or twice a year when I'm wanting something that tastes sinful. I make them with mozzarella cheese and egg and sometimes some pork panko. And then I make sausage gravy with heavy cream and cream cheese rather than milk and flour. Add some garlic powder and a little bit of cayenne pepper and it is so good. I fry a couple of eggs and throw them in on top of the gravy or put the gravy on the egg on top of the chaffle and I have a meal fit for the queen 😋😋😋

I like the dash mini I think it's the bomb diggity. It makes the perfect size for a hamburger bun. I find when I take the chaffle out I put it on a cooling rack so that the air circulates around it and it crisps up easily easily. Putting it on a flat plate still leaves it warm and soft
That Italian sandwich looks so good all you need is just a sprinkle of red wine vinegar just a little dash for a little zip
Use a rack to cool them. They will be more crunchy
I like the fact that with that bigger waffle maker you have 2 sides of the sandwich with one cook. Whereas, if you have a little dash it takes a little longer to get both sides….. those sammiches looked very tasty though.
The best bread replacement recipe is as follows. I have made a batch weekly for over a year now
1/2 Cup Pork Rind crumbs
4 Ounces Cream Cheese
1-2 Tablespoons Butter
4 Large Eggs
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
Looks so yummy!!!
Tip for crisping up the Chaffle…after removing from maker, lay them on a wire rack. Also, could put in toaster to crisp.

I’ve made them before but they were not as good as yours, Cassie. When I am on Keto, I made the most amazing bread buns with almond flour, cheese and eggs and I used a silicone mold. They get baked and oh, my God. It was on a regular Keto diet when I was my thinnest about four years ago. My real diet apparently is lose and gain. This last journey has been the hardest. Ketovore. I’m starting to approach getting thin again but not my slimmest. Meanwhile, there is no hurry. It’s about progress not perfection. Right, Cassie? Much love to you and Larry! ❤

I’ve been doing chaffles for a while. Most always savory . But I just started making some with egg,mozzarella, cinnamon and a few drops of liquid stevia. Delightful. I find cheddar or cheddar blends work best for savory and mozzarella for a sweet chaffle.
Omg I'm at the edge of my seat, so so excited watching this.. mouth watering.. LOL. I can't eat those things right now, .. I currently react to eggs and cheesevand I'm doing just meat, vinegar, salt, pepper and sheep yogurt, broth. (No plant GAPS diet, book chapter) … But!! I expect more healing and I'm planning on getting to this chaffle in the next year. Mmm mmm!! Talk about a delicious goal. Thank you Cassie. Delicious. Living vicariously! Yum yum

I make chaffles like you did; cheese and egg. I tried the OG chaffle with almond flour and I don't care for it. I've tried other methods, but I always come back to the simple way. It's delicious and easy.
