I eat at and review Peter Luger Steak House in Williamsburg, Brooklyn of New York City. Specifically, I reviewed the restaurant’s lunch-only steak sandwich. It’s the first new menu item added by the restaurant in 20 years. Because of Peter Luger’s fame and popularity, the new menu addition is a big deal. I also tried a couple of other dishes.

James, at those prices mediocre is unacceptable.
Gallagher’s steakhouse has a much better steak sandwich $27 and it’s much more meat than what you had at Peter Luger. It’s slow cooked 12 hours. It’s exploding with flavor . You get it with french fries fries all for $27 much better value and much more delicious. I’m sure than that bland Peter Luger 8 ounce steak sandwich. Gallagher’s also has an amazing burger. I saw it on the table next to me when I was having my prime rib steak sandwich. It was huge and only I think 22 bucks with a giant amount of fries one of the best looking burgers I’ve ever seen and so many french fries I’ll have to try it next time I go to Gallagher’s, but I loved that steak sandwich so much hard to decide.

The no credit card policy is crazy. Such a policy could very well be inviting armed robbery.
How did you order it? Maybe they assumed you would complain about the meat if it looked raw?

Fantastic and great Steak Sandwiches in NYC usually costs less than $20. Many downtown manhattan delis have them and are enormous. Hard pass for me on PL.
