I love this rich, creamy pasta dish, perfect for a cold, winter weekend – and it has an interesting history. Once, during my many years researching Italian recipes, I found a spinach dish that was attributed to Michelangelo. It contained raisins and pignoli along with the braised spinach. It seemed natural for me to build upon those basic pedigree ingredients and make this delicious pasta dish. Buon Appetito!

  1. First I just love you Lidia. There are only 4 chefs I have followed my whole life (64 years) First my mama….. miss her dearly.. yourself Lidia/Julia Child and Jacque Pepin. I really don't know what I would have done with you all. I am so passionate about cooking.. baking. Nothing more rewarding than putting a feast on the table.. and there is no talking… just eating!
