These beef pot roast french dip sandwiches are so delicious!! The beef roast is slow cooked, it’s so tender and flavorfully packed on buttered bread topped with cheese, with a side of Au Jus sauce for dipping.

INGREDIENTS
4 to 5 lbs chuck roast
Salt and black pepper
olive oil
1 whole onion, sliced
6 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup red wine
2 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbs soy sauce
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
2 fresh bay leaves
6 hoagie rolls
melted butter for toasting
swiss cheese for topping

  2. I wish I can eat meat as a kid there was a restaurant that made roast beef sandwiches. With a side bowl of juices from the roast beef. It was called Beef Au Jus.The restaurant's name was Brennan Carr I would go there whenever I was in that neighborhood Brooklyn, NY.
    My kids are going to love this
