That looks sooooo good!
So italian hot chocolate is just thin champurrado. ;p
Merry Christmas, Emma. 🤗🤗🤗
Can I just point out the chocolate chunks are totally optional?
The hot chocolate served in Italian cafés hasn't any added to it, nor the one we usually cook at home (just cocoa powder, salt, corn starch, milk, and very little sugar). It's still delicious 😋
😊😮🎉🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for sharing
woah, that is THICK

Maybe it's just me, but this is calling out for a buttery croissant to be dipped in it.😋 Thanks so much Emma and Merry Christmas!🌲❤🙏🏽
It's awesome ❤thank you ❤
It's easier if your make a slurry with the cornstarch and a bit of cold water or milk and then you mix it in with the rest of the liquid that is warming in the pan.
I'm going to make this for a gathering!
Merry Christmas and Happy holidays Miss Emma! I'd love to make this for my friend some day. She would love it
Recipe for plum cake please
Is there a good sub for cornstarch? I only have arrowroot and potato starch.
I’ll have to try this in the winter! Watching from Australia 🇦🇺
OMG WTF! 😮
this is a wonderful hot cocoa from scratch recipe and just in time for the holidays too! growing up with Italian dishes this version will most certainly be a hit in my household. best part is I find myself typically reducing a recipe to a single serving size for myself anyway and since fresh is always best this is super helpful as it's much easier to multiply the recipe for a bigger crowd if needed. this couldn't be more perfect, thank you!
Looks amazing 🤤 going to try this
So excited to try this! I got your cookbook for my birthday!
Buone Feste Emma! I love Italian Hot Chocolate the best. I will try this. Yum!

Trust me. You won't go back to powder
Making this tomorrow. For tonight I have ice cream, I guess.
My husband was stationed in Italy for 7 years and he doesn't remember hot chocolate being thick like that.
This looks just like the chocolate pudding i just made myself ^^
I prefer my hot chocolate to have a thinner consistency.
