It's nice to see a store bought sauce with real ingredients.
Vincenzo, Rao's is good but I find Victoria is better. You should review it
Vincenzo: "Rao, don't put too many onions in the sauce."
Rao: "I didn't put too much onions, uh, Vincenzo. Three small onions, that's all I did."
Test Carbone sauce, it is my favorite jarred sauce. I will always make homemade when I have the time though.
In like their pasta too.
Crisp-white-shirt marinara flipping is the most badass thing I've seen a while lol
Not EVOO though, just "Olive Oil".
Rao's is the only one I buy if I don't have my own. I do a soffritto version, so there's onions in mine also šš¤ā¤ļø
Pronounced Rayo's by Americans
The funny thing is it has declined quite a bit since Campbell's bought it. You are kind of tasting the shell of what once was. IDK what austrailia is like about importing jars of cooked food but find a jar of Carbone marinara. It's pretty much the peak of what you will find in a store in america.
did they pay you
They come in a lot of different flavors that don't have onion.
Victorias is better than Raos by a lot
Strictly speaking he is not a chef but a banquet manager as i recall. This in no way is a criticism just a click bait error i trust his recipes and technique. He is a fine cook but not a chef, they are different.
That jar of sauce is about $9US, it better be good. Before I started making my own, I used Classico. Very good, just not as gourmet priced as Rao's. Spaghetti is a cheap dinner, right?
Thanks, its 6$ a jar at Walmart will try itš
I like onions & while traditional recipes are a good starting point, I'll tailor them according to my liking…I modify every single recipe & when I get it according to my taste or nutritional standards, I save it to a document & print it off for my own favorite recipes cookbook that is just for my own enjoyment…I love having a cookbook of my top 150 recipes that I can enjoy often…š
Roa makes decent sauce and their noodles, especially linguine is amazing. For it's price its very good, but obviously homemade stuff is better.
Can we just appreciate how he managed to toss that without a single splash onto the white shirt? š®
Great with seafood frozen mixā¤
