We just returned from Italy (Rome, Sorrento, Capri, and Athens) on September 26, 2024. Be prepared that they will not let you buy pizza or anything and just share it. Everyone had to buy something to eat or they charged everyone at least 10 euros each ($$$). We had to waste so much food. Very disappointing. We did have a couple in our group that figured away to make it work as one ordered dessert and the other say bought a pizza. They were able to share it that way with no problem from the wait staff. This was one of the shocking differences we found between USA and Italy.
