Very easy to make and a lovely side to any kind of protein. There’s not much else to say about this – if you like asparagus and creamy sauces then give it a go!

| The Recipe |

INGREDIENTS:
– 500g (about 1lb) Asparagus, washed and white ends chopped off
– 230ml (1 cup) Double/Heavy Cream
– 1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
– Salt & Pepper, to taste
– 56g (1/2 cup) Shredded Cheese of your choice, I used Red Leicester
– 113g (1 cup) Shredded Mozzarella

METHOD:
1. Preheat the oven to 200c/400f and prepare a casserole dish or baking pan that’s about 8×8″.
2. Place the prepared asparagus into the dish and spread them evenly.
3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk cream, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and shredded cheese together. Pour that mixture over the asparagus.
4. Spread the mozzarella over the top and bake for 20 minutes before serving!
