  1. Oh, to be able to purchase whole, skin on fresh fish. I grew up in Newfoundland and we always ate fish, straight off the boat…..delicious! I now live in New Brunswick, which has lots of coast but I can’t get whole, skin on fresh fish, even at the fish mongers. You are quite correct about how we have become lazy. Pitiful! Thanks for these fabulous recipes.

  2. brilliant fish/crab/mussels dishes, so delicious recipes !! i could give for every one a thumbs up ❤👍but the mussles recipe was cut off….

  3. What I would like you to do is make food producers own up to using these products! Instead of Birds Eye as an example saying their fish fingers are omega three, instead of cod now 🤷‍♀️ I know it’s pollock or coley etc, and their is nothing wrong with that. But if they don’t start using the names, as you are doing, no one will know to source these fish! End of rant sorry 🙏🤗

  4. Coley curry sounds interesting Jamie. I’m excited to watch this vlog as I haven’t had coley for years.

  5. Jamie can I also add the Dried Herring fish pimps up the flavour in Egusi or Vegetable soup (West African dishes)😂

  6. Jamie you NEVER cease to amaze me!! Thanks for the tips…Each dish you made was absolutely brilliant!! THANKS FOR THE TIP ON THE COLEY!!!

  7. I've been making these dishes since you first aired them, some ten years or more ago. Made the trout dish last Friday; will be making the mussels tonight. Please add the mackerel recipe.

  8. Am absolutely loving your recipes ❤❤❤ all looking very delicious 😋😋😋😋😋
Many many thanks for such a simple way of removing the herring bones it's my most favorite fish from childhood days 😊
