A&Z #801 – Atlas and Brandon “Da Garbage Disposal” Clark vs the “Village Elder” 28-inch Team Pizza Challenge at Village Pizza in Linden, Tennessee. Hey everybody!! Back in mid November 2019, as part of my “4th Quarter 2019” Food Challenge Tour, I traveled to Tennessee for 4 events, with three of them being team pizza challenges with my friend Brandon “Da Garbage Disposal” Clark. For event #1, we met up at Village Pizza in Linden, Tennessee which is close to halfway between Memphis and Nashville. We teamed up against their 28″ diameter “Village Elder” Pizza Challenge which weighed around 11 pounds and had to have at least 2 toppings. So we could have a few extra healthy vegetables, we got 5 toppings, including Italian sausage, black olives, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. We had 1 hour to finish and were trying to beat the previous record which was just shy of the time limit. Thanks to everyone with Village Pizza for the wonderful food and hospitality. Thanks to all the amazing people who came up to watch and meet us!! We appreciate everyone around the great state of Tennessee who watch our videos and support our efforts!! Village Pizza’s 28″ 11lb “Village Elder” Team Pizza Challenge ($40):
– There is a 28″ pizza with 3lbs of dough, ~12 cups of their 5-cheese blend, and pizza sauce.
– You must pick 2 additional toppings for your pizza.
– If you are feeling brave, you can get more toppings (we got 5).
– There is a 1 hour time limit for 2 people to finish the entire pizza.
– Each person must also finish a 32oz drink as part of the challenge.
– Winners receive the $40 pizza free, sweet t-shirts, and a team photo on their Wall of Fame.
– Each person also gets a $50 gift certificate to come back and use later!!
