Potato Curry is a best suitable side dish for Idly, dosa, chapati, poori, vegetable rice, pulao, etc…
Ingredients:
Potatoes – 3 (cooked)
Small onions – 10
Tomato – 1
Curry leaves and coriander leaves
Coriander powder – 5 to 6 spoon
Turmeric powder little
Red chilly powder – 2 spoon
Curry Masala – 1 spoon
ginger garlic paste – 1 Tbspn
grated coconut – 7 to 8 spoons
roasted gram – 2 spoon
Oil to cook and salt to taste
Steps:
First heat the pan with 2 spoon of oil and saute the onion. After 2 minutes add tomato and saute it well. Then add ginger garlic paste. Then add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, curry masala powder and coriander powder. Add little water and stir it well and allow it to boil. Meanwhile blend the coconut and roasted gram to a fine paste by adding little water.
Now add the mashed potatoes to the gravy. Add curry leaves and mix it well. Now add the coconut paste to the gravy. If the gravy is more thicker then add some water according to your consistency.
Add salt and allow it to boil for about 5 mins. Then add the coriander leaves and switch off the flame. The spicy and tasty Potato Gravy is ready.
