Why whole cloves garlic ? That would be a shock to bite into I think I would chop mine

Lost me at the lemon zest. It's just crap filler that nobody wants to eat. If it was truely adding flavor you wouldn't have to add the lemon juice. With the juice added you can't discern the zest, it's now just a texture filler.
