hi I’m Lisa mew sha owner of treasures of Tuscany and epicurean voyage treasures of Tuscany is a creative vacation with a cooking program today we are talking about preparing pappa al pomodoro pop-up Pomodoro is tomato and bread soup right now we’re going to go ahead and saute the garlic and to do that you need 1 cup of olive oil put into a skillet you’re going to turn your stove on on to cook the olive oil so we’re just going to go ahead and heat this up really quick and once we do that we’re going to add the five cloves of chopped garlic that we chopped earlier here it is and when you’re putting the garlic into the olive oil you want to make sure that you do not burn the garlic you’re just cooking it sautéing and rather just enough to enhance the flavor and you also want to make sure that you use a wooden spoon wooden spoon will get no reactions from the garlic all right so we’re going to go ahead and saute the garlic in the olive oil and again this is sautéing we do not want to brown it you just want to soften the garlic let’s go about a minute and a half to two minutes I’m just stir that around a little bit oh wow you really can smell of garlic it’s a lovely along with the beautiful olive oil so you’re just cooking this we’re sautéing it rather and once we finish sautéing the garlic will then go ahead and add the chopped tomatoes to watch the other segments in this video series or for how-to videos on almost any other topic visit monkey-see com
