How to Make Chef John’s Pourable Liquid Pizza Dough

the next time you want pizza but don’t
want to mess around with a traditional
Pizza procedure I really love this
alternative technique let’s go ahead and
get started by mixing up this
gamechanging dough so into a mixing bowl
I’m going to add some flour and then to
our flour We’ll add one package of dry
active yeast some salt as well as a
little touch of honey we will also add
in a little bit of olive oil and then
we’ll finish this up by pouring in our
warm water we’re going to need to let
this rise so to speak and then once
that’s set we can go ahead and pre-cook
our crust which I’m going to do in this
cast iron pan which we need to
generously greased first with olive oil
and at this point we can head to the
stove where we’re going to cook this
over medium high heat and all we want to
do here is wait for those bubbles to
form and for this thing to kind of dry
out enough where it’s safe to flip and
then once your pourable pizza crust has
been pre-cooked we can go ahead and
finish that with our favorite toppings
and this is what mine looked like after
about 4 minutes under the broiler and I
don’t know about you but to me that
looks exactly like a th Cross pepperoni
pizza

  1. Man, your voice at the beginning sounds so similar to one of the really common AI voices people use

  2. I imagine chef john got persuaded by some "agency" who help him out "boost his channel" by posting Shorts. And when context for the short is missing, they use this god awful ai Voice and hope we don't notice.
That or its another reason and I'm just tinfoil hatting 😀

  3. I've tried this, and uh, no. It just doesn't work. It makes a fine pancake but I'm sorry, in no way does that approximate a pizza.

  4. Chef John's recipes are simple enough to explain in a minute or less!!
