Come with me to bologna Italy for a gelato cooking class. The class takes place at Chef Alessandro’s apartment. Since it was during the slow season I was the only person attending. Alessandro went over the history of gelato and the different flavors we could make. I decided on pistachio. I learned that gelato shops use salt and other tricks to cover the flavor of lower quality gelato. The class was as hands on as it gets and I highly recommend it. The best part is that there’s leftovers for you to take home.

from scratch and even May sorbet while
we were waiting for the gelato to freeze
the class was as Hands-On as it gets and
I highly recommend it the best part is
