Italian food wasn’t made in Italy that’s
kind of clickbait so what do I mean
chances are if you aren’t actually
Italian then every dish that you see as
Italian is actually Italian American
Pizza chicken parm fedini Alfredo pen
aladka spaghetti and meatballs I looked
up a list and it’s nearly every dish of
Italian that I’ve had so yes the Yankee
influence is no joke but why is this the
case well Italians moved into the US by
the millions so the popularity grew in
scale but Italian food back in Italy is
affected by a little thing called
regionalism Italians take food so
seriously that each individual town has
their own way of preparing and the
regional pride is fierce therefore not
giving the food culture breathing room
to travel to Outsiders meanwhile for
Italians in America solidarity in the
culinary arts form and the culture had
enough consistency to spread but chicken
parm is the most obvious American food
that I’ve ever seen it’s a fried piece
of chicken with store-bought sauce and
cheese slapped on it like and sub for
more

I personally love Italian food as it's a great place to start if you want to get into cooking. Its simplistic and delicious but still teaches you the basics of cooking proteins and portioning veggies. Also, while this may be insulting to Italians, its very practical when you figure out that most recipes can be just simply served on rice. So, if you're an officer k loner who is busy but wants to eat tasty and filling meals regularly, portioning meals is easy if you just cook a bunch of rice.
I heard Northern Italian food took over the proper boot with their savory creamy white wine recipes. While I like this style, I honestly prefer the American red stuff.
Thanks for the support!
I cooka da meatball.
Knowing now that almost all of Olive Garden is a lie. I’m kinda depressed
I just want to go to Italy and get authentic fettuccine Alfredo they are like who is alfredo
Italian food is super overrated plus pretty much every country makes better italian food than the actual Italians
A miniscule bit of knowledge is a DANGEROUS THING. "I looked up a list" now I'm an expert😂😂😂

It's said "america discovered Italy", just on how important tomatoes and american exports were for italian food.
There are still great typical foods which are unknown outside of a single region, but I can't disagree on the fact that the international concept of italian food is hard carried by the US italian immigrants
100% true
I heard that pizza actually originated in China.. But maybe that will be a different Russ Noe history video for another time.
