  1. I'm so glad i found you through great big story. Your own channel is so much more exciting!❤️❤️❤️❤️

  2. Beryl, I love your eyebrows! I love your face, the way you laugh, the way you decorate your table before taking food photos, and your wooden spoon collection.

I especially love your earrings and how you make the effort to match them to the topic of your episode.

I learned about so many different countries' food after you started this channel. Heck, I even learned so many of my own country's (Sri Lankan) recipes because of you 🤣

Do you make the earrings yourself? Where do you get such cool earrings?

  3. Hi Beryl! I don't think my family has ever commented here, but we wanted to let you know that we found you in 2020 and we have loved your channel since day one. My daughter looks up to you, and it breaks our collective heart that folks can throw so much shade online towards you. We wish you the most heartfelt thanks for having you here and breaking through the noise of negativity. We look forward to every post as you open our eyes to the world. Our hope is that you can feel the love from this community, us included.

    All the best!

  4. I had Ema Datshi many times when I was in Bhutan several years ago. They, of course, make it with Yak cheese. But it's great however you make it.

  5. congrats on your upcoming pbs show.. I'm hoping its this with a bigger staff and a bigger budget.

  6. I love your channel, Beryl! I just forwarded this one to a friend who I know will love ypur content as well.

Not sure why people think it's ok to judge people's looks. If you wouldn't say it to a person's face, you shouldn't say it online either.

  7. 09:07 Balilah fatteh is more a Lebanese chilaquiles than nachos. And yes, I'mma try this.

15:54 I GET IT. I used to use Boraxo to scrub off the chile heat from my fingers, but then 20 Mule Team stopped making Boraxo! Fortunately, I was able to find an alternate from Banner Chemical ($20 on Amazon for a 5-pound box). Now I keep a restaurant sugar dispenser full of borax soap powder next my kitchen sink to use whenever I've handled chiles, which I do regularly. (I douse my bird seed in chile, to run off the squirrels.)

17:02 That's the nice thing about cheese–since it's dairy, it helps fend off the worst of the heat.

21:49 HOWWWWWWWWWWWW did you acquire so much GORGEOUS vintage Pyrex??? I'm green with envy.

  8. The cucumber pancakes are a twist of using zucchini.

Don’t rub your eyes after cutting chilli’s. Or go to the bathroom, either!
Cut the hard, bitter ribs and seeds out of the chilli’s, too.

  9. Beryl! I love your channel very much! You irradiate kindness and a passion for food and cultures that are contagious. And, WTF is rude people going on about with your eyebrows? Like, I wouldn't give af if they were weird regardless because judging people for their looks is mean and superficial, but I literally see nothing wrong or weird about them. Learning that there's someone out there fixating on them came as a surprise. I really hope those comments don't get to you.

  10. Beryl, you are fun, smart, have a great taste and make wonderful videos which connects us people from all over the world. If I watch your videos, I feel inspired and they always give me positive vibes. I even like your style, fun shirts and always amazing earrings. But honestly, this is the first time that I paid attention to your eyebrows 😂 And they're fine ❤

  11. You are a delight to watch. Smart, educated and absolutely perfect in and out. We are lucky to have you educated us and make us laugh.

  12. Girl rock your eyebrows. I have bushier eyebrows for a woman and I’ve been both in and out of style. 🙂

  13. I don’t have a problem with her eyebrows. I’m not trying to be mean but is there something wrong with her left eye? Is it a medical condition that makes it move around all crazy when she eats? It’s very strange to watch if you look back at her videos.

  14. BTW the Lebanese dish fatteh you should try also adding pomegranate to it adds an extra crunch and a hint of sweet sour which really complements it perfectly. We do it so in Lebanon oh and add some fried nuts such as almonds, cashews, or pinenuts.they too add a nice nutty flavor

  15. I actually LOVE the way your eyebrows mimic the shape of your eyes. It allows them to amplify your expressions, quite beautifully!! Some people have incredibly rigid beauty standards. They are not ~my kind~ of people! Their loss, not mine.

  16. I know these greatest hits/countdown videos are probably a handy way to keep up with your posting schedule whilst you’re working on other projects, but I think a way to make them more interesting for your regular viewers, it would be really cool if you swapped the tasting segment for an update on how often you’ve made them, any adjustments you’ve made to suit your taste, when you eat them, what with, etc.
that way it’s not just a full video of repeated content
    P.S.: your eyebrows are fine

  17. I get hungry watching you eat! And the eyebrows only add to the experience of wow that must be delicious her eyebrows are raised! It’s sad that some people’s faces don’t move anymore even actors and actresses. The point of a face is to communicate no….🤷🏻‍♀️ anyways thanks for your channel! You’re brilliant!

  18. Huh? Eyebrows? What's with that? How strange. ❤ loved this episode. I never miss one so was familiar with all of these but really enjoyed knowing your personal favourites 😊 xx

  19. Thank you for this video – I so look forward to making your top 5 with fresh veggies this summer!

  20. Fing assholes on the internet. Could you pay attention to the content? Also don’t judge other people unless you want to post a photo of yourself for all of us to judge.

  21. I don’t think I’ve ever thought anything about Beryl’s eyebrows, nor noticed any of those comments. Perception bias? Anyway, love this video and Beryl being herself!

  22. That’s funny my favorite recipe I’ve ever made is the Cilbir, and you didn’t include it but you mentioned it lol. Hands-down my favorite recipe you’ve made might be one of my favorite recipes I found in the last decade or so it’s just so good. And seriously the garlic yogurt sauce good on so many things.
