I have only removed the meat due to my fasting restrictions, i made it before with meat and its delicious. Highly recommend trying it

You first put a little olive oil in the pot
You put in some herbs and garlic (also bacon if you prefer)
Dice your vegetables and add them in
Stir it around for a bit
Add in minced beef
Let it brown and add in 2 cans of plum tomatoes and 1 table spoon of tomato puree for every 1 kg (~2 pounds) of minced beef and fill the cans with water and add it
Let it simmer on low for 2 hours and stir it every once in a while
