Around the world aboard our 44t sailboat taroo fulltime since starting this epic adventure on March 1st of 2023 we’ve already been into 10 countries and we just knew that when we started our Italian travels we wanted to seek out the Holy Grail of pizzas in the country

Of Italy the birthplace of pizza so today we bring yall with us as we travel Italy and try seven very different pizzerias let’s begin we are actually in Rome right now we’ve been traveling the Italian coast and trying Pizza in search of the best pizza in the world in Italy

Our all day sale to our very first stop on our Italian hop once we were secured in our slip we asked the employees at the marina for the best local pizzeria recommendation they had and they gave us the name of a place called Club 64 after

Our all day sale we were famished and ready to indulge in the Italian cuisine at this recommended location Sean ordered the worstell pizza and I ordered a pizza that had broccoli on it I thought why not try something Ultra unique the pizza from this Pizzeria filled us up and cured our hunger good Stuff the flavors are there I love about th and I really really like the pepper sauce but we weren’t sure that this would rank as being the best pizza in the world so onward we traveled we are about to cast the lines off from our first port in Italy that we

The day and upon arrival we walked around and decided we’d choose our dinner location at the most crowded place we saw which ended up being a place called goinos it’s not only a pizzeria but also a full restaurant serving many seafood dishes as well the restaurant has been around since 1910

That that’s over a 100 years old all right bab we just got the Gino Pizza we are here in arono and we are at Gino’s right now we got the Gino Pizza and it was the best choice oh my gosh this pizza is fire 100% SP cheers Baby y’all our next sale took us to Pisa Italy we stayed in Porto de Pisa a short bus ride outside of the larger and well-known town of Pisa where the historic Leaning Tower of Pisa is located within Porto de Pizza we tried a couple of takeout pizzas from lustica

There was always a crowd at that place so our hopes were high when sea brought home these pizzas for us and opened the boxes the aroma and look of them alone made my mouth water but upon the taste test genos was still so far the clear leader among the pizzas though these

Pizzas from Lusa were good we cannot even put them in the same category of greatness that came from Goins while at Porto de Pisa we made our way into Pisa not only to see that historic Leaning Tower but also to find more pizza to try surely Gos in Arn Zano

Cannot stay in a category of greatness all on its own right we actually accidentally found a pizzeria known as Pizzeria IL montino we were on our way to another place we had seen earlier that day but when we we saw the line out the door at this place midafternoon at

That our interest was peaked the place was loud it was crowded and the wait for pizzas was long but locals and tourists alike were all waiting on their orders either at tables at the bar or to go so we’ve been wandering around looking for the best place to get a pizza in Piza

One of the ways that we find our restaurants is to see what’s the most crowded we were actually headed to another place that we thought was pretty crowded but this place there was actually a line and it’s 2:16 in the afternoon for this place to have a line

Bot it’s kind of interesting cuz we came inside and they’re just like yelling like what do you want what do you want it’s a pretty cool atmosphere and experience a we soon found found out that IL montino is the oldest Pizzeria in the city of pizza dating back to the early

1800s Sean and I ordered a couple of pizzas a bottle of wine and Chow Down Pizza Adventure Co perfect first bite oh the I guarant you this ain’t Pizza Hut this is the real deal this enti pizza it’s good stuff it’s my gorgeous first mate say this is 10 out of 10 this is real Italian pizza this is awesome yes all right I’m about to try mine Now thank by I’m excited it smells incredible okay I love it because this one has like a little bit of heat in the meat it’s so cheesy it’s not crazy heavy on the sauce it’s not like crunchy but it’s like the perfect texture it’s not

Soggy either not even a this is fire for fire I don’t mean like spicy I mean amazing now I need to taste a little bit of wine at this that wine that Sean just ordered compliments this so well it is delicious Sean said multiple times that this place could definitely beat out Gos

In arano and I too loved the pizza at IL montinos but since we do have to compare all the pizzas that that we’re trying along our Italian journey I personally still think gos is a very thin hair better than IL montinos Sean and I will just have to agree to disagree on which

Of the two of these is better but to say that we do absolutely love both places is the understatement of the year however we’re only halfway through our pizza tasting in Italy so it’s time to go onwards to the island of Elba Y’all for our next Italian destination we made our way over to the Italian island of Elba which was about a 12 or 13-hour day sale for us we were so pleasantly surprised by the island it was absolutely beautiful quaint and had an incredibly local feel we tried two

Places out for pizza while in Elba Pizzeria de gppi Sean got the Franchesco we can see some mushrooms some cheese pepperonis or maybe that salami looks really delish he also got us some french fries and I got the Mia which is multiple kinds of cheeses and it’s also got spicy sausage and

Onions we’ll see how this lives up to the rest since this video is all about finding the best pizza in the world in Italy we have to be honest that this pizza tasted about as good as its packaging looked and we’ll leave it at

That it’s time to get on up out of here and get to the next place but wait we said we tried pizza at two places in ela right that’s right but both places we got pizza from where to go I went down to reheat um some pizza that we bought

From a local patiseria and we’ve been eating her croissants and her bread that she makes and it is like some of the best ever put up the little store and everything but her stuff is so good so I have really high hopes for this pizza everything else from there

Has been so good so we decided to grab a couple of the mini pizzas for our lunch from deeta panoria as we sailed out of Elba and onwards towards Rome all right Sean just came back up with it but it looks amazing super hopeful y’all cuz everything from there

Has been so good unfortunately the microphone on the camera was not turned on during our lunch and talk here but what we were attempting to relate to y’all was that out of all of the pizzas we’ve tried so far the dough in this pizza is perhaps the best dough from all

Of the pizzas we’ve tried the flavors in the pizza sauce and toppings were also fantastic especially considering we bought this the day prior and reheated it on our boat whereas all of our other pizzas were cooked fresh moments prior to eating them pizza from deeta pen Aria

M that definitely did something to it leveled it up a b more so y’all now that we’ve tried out pizza from seven different Pizzeria and restaurants in Italy how do they rank well Sean and I had similar answers but they weren’t 100% the same so we’re about to reveal
