The stuffed calzones are delicious little bundles of pasta with a steaming and delicious filling, they are baked in the oven and are perfect for an aperitif or as a snack. The stuffed mini calzones are prepared with a wrapping of bread dough (or pizza) and are then stuffed with a variety of different ingredients. A classic Calzone has a filling of tomato, mozzarella, and baked ham or a vegetarian one with vegetables and mozzarella; naturally, you can indulge yourself by inventing many variations.

The calzone is prepared by rolling out the pizza dough into a round shape
closing with the other half and cooking in the oven. In this tutorial, I will show you the steps for 8 easy calzone recipes.

Calzone dough ingredients:(for 3 people)

00 flour 500 g
Room temperature water 300 ml
Extra virgin olive oil 35 g
Salt up to 10 g
Fresh brewer’s yeast (or 1.5-2 g if dry) 5 g

Calzone fillings (for one people)

Mozzarella 100-120gr
Baked Ham 130-150gr
Champignons Mushrooms 60-80gr
Pizza Sauce 60-80gr
Semolina Flour (for the dough stretching)
Calzone Dough 250gr

Welcome back to lo sbrano! Now for today I’m gonna show you eight types ofย  different calzone recipes guys so be preparedย ย  for it uh prepare all the ingredients thatย  you’re gonna need and let’s see how it’s done. The very first calzone we’re gonna make it’s a classic one. Baked ham calzone with cheese and Pomodoro salsa. So we’ll put a little bit of Pomodoroย  salsa, mozzarella you can spread it a little a bit like this. We close it, we fold it in half like so

Press a little bit on the edges and we start from the left to the right by lifting and pressing lifting the pressing lifting and pressing all the way up to the end like this and the first calzone it’s ready. The second calzone which is um a little bit similar to the first one

But this time we’re gonna add one more ingredient we’ll put a little bit of Pomodoro salsa, mozzarellaย  a little bit of baked ham Now we use a light cheese which isย  called the stracchino and we fold it. And the trick on this Calzoneย  I’ll show you right now is the next thing. Watch carefully, we’ll put just a little bit of light cheese on top like so and when it cooks it will leave all golden brown color so you’ll see that will come out really nice now the Third calzone on

Our list it’s got gorgonzola and bacon but this time guys we’re gonna use only gorgonzola bacon mozzarella without the Pomodoro because otherwise, it will ruin the taste of all these ingredients okay gorgonzola a little bit of mozzarella,ย ย  bacon We fold it in half and now we do the same thing with gorgonzola on top and this is our third calzone okay now the fourth calzone on our list it’s gorgonzola chili salami and walnuts. Okay we’ll do the same thing again a little bit of gorgonzola then a little bit of chili salami Mozzarella whole nuts folding half those are the signs of Mickey this is our little Cat at home… and we’ll do the same thing with gorgonzola. Now the fifth calzone at list it’s a very simple one and we’re gonna use just a little bit of Pomodoro, mozzarella now grana padano cheese

And a little bit of black pepper And on this particular calzone, we’reย  gonna put a little bit of Pomodoro on top like this and the fifth is done. Okay now, the sixth calzone on our list will have a lot of ingredients guys so be prepared I’m gonna write on a screen what kind of ingredients you’re gonna

Need and we start with a little bit of mozzarella then we’ll put a little bit of ham, nextย  champignons mushrooms, green olives,ย ย  and a few artichokes and we fold it. Okay now, the seventh calzone on ourย  list’s four different kinds of cheese and we’ll start with the mozzarellaย ย  then a little bit of gorgonzola cheese for this light cheese which we call stracchino and the fold it’s an Emmental cheeseย ย  okay, And now we’ll put a little bit of light cheese on one side and a little bit of gorgonzola on the another side. (This is just for decoration purposes guys so if you don’t want toย  put it on top it’s up to you.) Okay and the very last on our list this

Comes from the calzone familyย  but if you see the shape it’s more like an oval shape it’sย  not a round shape and this is a sweet calzone we’ll use a little bit of Nutella and here you can use as much as you want in fact, I put too much on it I guess

We fold it in the same way as the other ones the only thing that we’re gonna do differently in thisย  one it’s we only gonna press like this but we won’t wrap it up like theย  other ones so after we closed itย ย  up like this, we round it

And it’s finished okay now we made the very last calzone which is a calzone with Nutellaย  and now we’re gonna put them into the oven and let’s see how they come out… Oh Nutella Okay Youtube all of this Is okay now let’s open up all these calzones and see uh how they are inside. This is the very first one which I wasย ย  telling you that is the… No um I’m sorry thisย  is the one that we made with a lot of ingredients

And you can see that it’s still very very hot this is how it looks inside. Okay this is the calzone with the baked ham and light cheese stracchino. This is the simple calzoneย  with Pomodoro mozzarella Grana Padano and a little bit of black pepper. This is the calzone with fourย  different kinds of cheese. This is the calzone with walnuts,ย  mozzarella, chili salami, and gorgonzola

Okay wow this is the calzone with mozzarella gorgonzola and bacon. This is the very firstย  calzone that we made with the baked ham and mozzarella Pomodoro. And last but not least this is the Nutella calzone and we’re gonna put a little bit of sugar on the top and voila.

  1. i have a wood pizza oven and started making calzone i use tomato sause,normal mozarella,bufalla mozarella,ham and champignon. after oven i put some basil and tomato sause on top.

    btw why ur dough doenst stick to the surface? thats interesting, i always have a trouble the dough sticking while im working with toppings

  8. The ham,salame and pancetta don't put it whole,cut it in cubes or else one bite and you have the while slice in your mouth. Also,the dough should be a bit thicker and it needs more filling. Sorry,I don't mean to criticize, It looks delicious though.

  12. I love to make calzone! I love to eat them more! I don't use fior de latte in calzones only on a pizza pie. I don't like all the cheese oozing out after cutting. I use low moisture mozzarella to avoid a mess. Great video! Bravo! ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น
